  • We have had work done for many different things in the house, with different contractors. You meet a lot of people and think ‘no, not going to trust them with my house, don’t want them to come in.’ But with Chris, it was different. I think just his personality didn’t make you feel rushed when he came in, he went over stuff with you. He didn’t make you feel like you were bothering him when you had tons of questions. And, just real personable, easy to work with. And his workers also, everyone is kind and nice, no issues.

  • Chris had originally said that the job was probably going to take about 3 weeks, and when all was said and done I think it was a 2 week job, start to finish. And, he promised us it wouldn’t interfere with our daily routine, and he made sure that the dumpster was set off to the side so it didn’t block the driveway, and his guys were just terrific. You wouldn’t even know they were here. They came in, they did their job, at the end of the day the place was clean, there were never any problems getting in and out of our driveway, so in that regard he kept his promise.

  • Chris is just a regular guy. I enjoyed talking to him and hanging out with him while he was on the job site. It wasn’t a purely business relationship, we became friendly, and I think he’s just a terrific guy. So when you work with people who you genuinely like, it makes it a more pleasant experience.

  • I got the feeling that Chris was not trying to nickel and dime me. He said, this is the job, this is what we’ll do … I certainly felt that anything that was associated with the outside of the house, he was going to take care of it, and he was going to do the right thing. And at the end of the day, he did. I felt like I got my money’s worth. And in today’s environment, that’s important. With Chris, I was confident, I trusted him, and I felt the job was managed professionally. I can’t say enough about a job that was this expensive, and how well that it was done. My wife and I are very pleased with the outcome of the work.

  • They cleaned up at the end of each day, which I wouldn’t have expected given the nature of the work. It’s messy, and they have so much equipment, so it’s difficult to do. And they were always polite and willing to answer any questions. So if I had a question about what they were doing at that moment, someone would run over and explain it to me.

  • They finished the project on time, so again I couldn’t have asked for more than that. And the project was done as well as I could possibly expect, if not better. People drive by and don’t even know that work was done on that whole side, so that’s what I was looking for. I wanted my house to look perfect.

  • His quote was very accurate. He knows his stuff, so pretty much everything he told me was right on. You don’t know what you’re dealing with when you’re talking about something that’s going on behind the outside coating of your house. So everyone I spoke to was very clear to say to me, you know, when I take this off, I’m not sure what I’m going to find underneath. And I understand that’s the nature of the beast.

  • Chris was pretty confident going in. He’d be saying ‘I’m pretty sure of what I’m going to see here, and here,’ and I’m going to build the estimate around what I expect we’ll find. And once the work started to happen, it turned out he was right about what needed to be done, what didn’t need to be done. It was impressive, given the nature of stucco remediation, where you can’t really see before you go in.

  • ..So the project was only about 2 weeks of effort — it was incredibly, incredibly well orchestrated, I couldn’t believe it! Right away, a dumpster comes out, the scaffolding goes up, the guys start. They take the siding off, and I will say it was shocking to see the damage and rot that can happen to wood. But right away the carpenters came out.

  • It was all the little things, too. Every day, they would start by putting down tarps, putting down sheets of 4×8 plywood to protect the driveway, to protect the shrubs, or patio, or walkways, and then every time I came home at night, it was perfectly cleaned up, like nobody had been working here. I had full use of the driveway and getting into and out of the house. They really wanted to make sure I wasn’t inconvenienced, or my family wasn’t inconvenienced. Even the cleaning up of the mulch beds when they were done, just to make sure everything looked better than when they started.
